Thanks Bryan

I forgot to blog about my weight loss. Six pounds in a week, all thanks to Bryan Appleyard. Did anyone else read his interview with an american 70 year old who has a diet theory a little like Atkins? It seems all tied up with our bodies not having evolved as fast as our diets have in the last ten thousand years. I'm a bit vague as I am too tight to pay $49.99 to subscribe to his regular out pourings on his website so I cribbed something together from the interview basically as follows:

No Pasta, No Rice, No Potatoes, No Bread and (pause for dramatic effect) No Chocolate.

So red meat, salad, omlette, grapes and wine and six pounds lighter I am ready to hunt again on the African Savannah.

All very well, but what about cholesterol?

Mine's high and they tell me to "fill up on carbohydrates".

If only that meant I could eat them in the form of bread but wrapped around protein, I'd be eating a hot-dog right now.
